Or are we talking about spirited driving with some occasional quick stops?
This.

Let's get you into a good pad!
No track from the beginning of 2007. Just street use and highway at 150-200 kmh.
I would prefer something that doesn't destroy rotors and produce a lot of dust.

Thanks!

Why EBC redstuff cost 130 EUR and the OEM pads 220 or so?

Edit: red or yellow?
The shop suggested me to get yellow that are sportier in his opinion.

Brake Pads other than OEM

My personal preference is CarboTech (street or track available). Look them up -they are avid performance nuts and know what they are talking about. I bought and installed the low-dust/no-dust pads for the M and they work great. Definitely a choice to consider and they are more than willing to discuss any personal preferences and issues for your particular car. .02

On a similar topic. Is there anyone other than OEM to get brake discs. EBC may do them as they say POA.

Interested to know how much these cost as I'm considering an M5 upgrade but if the discs are ???? then a BBK may be better!

EBC pads are about ?110 delivered.

I think BMW put two fingers in the socket when they decided the price of the M5 rotors: each rotors here costs about EUR 300-350 + 20% VAT.
$1000 for two rotors seems to me a little high price.

374*36 mm... EBC?

?122 here chersney, it's good indeed.

I've emailed EBC to ask about discs. See if they are as scary $$$ as dealer. Its just a lump of metal FFS I get discs for our golf (with TT brakes) for ?25 each from EBC!!!

Maybe someone makes the M5 size rotors not drilled.. or just slotted.
We need a cheaper replacement for OEM

Obviously our lives won't change with cheaper rotors, but I don't see any reason to continue to make BMW fatter.

Edit:
Just checked.. 5.0 (E60) 2005- N/A N/A

Ok, EBC say 3-6 months before they release the M5 discs. I'll ask if they have an expected price.
