I was able to get the lights 100% functional. The OEM cables throw codes tho on start up. It's annoying just now $250 annoying to me personally...

Defintly agree here, I was actually quoted 300 for the cables from Bruce, seems overpriced to me.

I figured worse case scenario it was bad connections at the plug or blown LEDs...but it was none of that. Lol

I won't upset you all & let you in on how easy a fix it was

found a machine shop today that can custom fabricate my design out of my mock-ups....im so excited, i literally cant wait!

(note: this set i picked up really damaged w/ curb rash and two cracks per wheel....got them patched up professionally and then took on the curb rash myself....used a little bit of bondo....tons of sanding + elbow grease and then refinished them in gloss black....im pretty proud of how they look now lol)
Hold up! You painted these yourself? Please teach me

honestly man, it was really easy yet really hard.

the 30 second version of the process:
  • bondo on the curb rash....sand smooth until your elbows feel like they are gonna fall off your body lol
  • lightly sand all the areas to be painted
  • 1 light coat then 2 medium coats of self etching primer (duplicolor)
  • 1 light coat then 2 medium coats of high gloss performance wheel paint (duplicolor)
  • 2 HEAVY coats of 2 stage clear coat (purchased from an automotive paint store along with a cheap sprayer)

you gotta be really careful with drips though man, they will kill your finish so i had to get creative in the garage on how i set things up to dry. but ultimately they came out great as you can see in the pics. not only did i save like $500 or $600 by not getting the powder coated, it got a bonus sense of accomplishment by doing it myself lol
