ok, crazy amount of updates this wknd. but the first thing i want to say is im pissed. I will have to send them a PM but i repeatedly asked for Pre-LCI Orions to be sent my way, like three seperate times....even when i sent my paypal payment i had it in all caps in the comment section or something. but still when they came....they were not the same size as the Pre-LCI orions ive installed in the past. i dont know if the design changed or if i got LCI versions instead but they BARELY fit in my headlights....i mean i had to chop a lot of shit out of the way to get them to barely fit....add to that i had to abandon my design which called for hello OEM rings left in place behind the Orions for a cool backlight feature....im super pissed. these pre-LCI headlights will be for sale this summer for sure....im def going to have to upgrade to LCI now that this didnt go down right.

why didnt i just send them back you ask? well because i had already cut open my headlights....too late to turn back and the size difference is negligible via eye but self evident when it comes to the install smh

Actually Chris, pre-LCi xenon rings are the same ones as LCI halogen and LCI xenon. You probably got the big pre-LCI halogen ring instead.

These are the same ones that DK got for his pre-LCI headlights.

again, i made these parts from a bulletproof grade hard acrylic guaranteed not to shatter if a rock or road debris hits it at speed....at least thats what my research has told me lol. in order to secure it to the side skirt i used a double sided tape....but didnt stop there....i also drilled 6 holes and secured it further with screws and washers....the next time im doing 100+mph i dont want the wind downforce pulling these things off...

Yea. Those are the same ones I had on my pre-LCI. Had to trim the excess material off the edges to make them fit.

i kinda like the bigger ring it looks different, even though its not meant to be like that It reminds me of the ae's on the x5. secondly I notice on mine I don't know if you upgraded to the d2s bulbs but the colors match almost so perfectly at night its hard to distinguish the spacing between the outer rings and projector light. but with such a bigger ring it will be easier for people to see the ring and the projector on at the same time without thinking its just all one light.

  • Orion V2 + Ehssan blackout method
  • Creating my own yellow AEs from the stock bulbs...
  • white eyebrow mod this wknd and blacking out the chrome eyebrows
upcoming mods
  • strongly considering removing all my trim and covering it in real CF then completing the look with a clear resin going to try this with a wrap this wknd
  • RPI pulley - purchased this today...i hope i can install it myself....sounds fun
  • LCI tails....i refuse to pay a lot so the hunt continues
  • lowering spring install - i might have to wait until i get to cali to find a shop to do it for me
  • thinking about a set of 20" wheels powdercoated gloss black if i can get the right price on this used set that needs work
