Speaking from experience and not pure hear say:

I've had Rads for quite awhile on my E39 M5 ESS S/C S2 (have gone thru almost all top wheels in the market today from HRE's which i have, Kinesis (before they sold it to another company) DPE's, Forgeline, BBS LM's and the list just goes on lol) and recently got the Rads R5's for my E60 M5 I love them because of the craftsmanship and design, Radenergie wheels are solid

I followed that thread too lol! before i got the rads but to be honest i always live by this rule : There's always 3 sides of the story ...His side, their side and the TRUTH

btw your wheels are nice did these wheels come off an E92 M3?

That's right....I know Jason from Wheel Power....he has some interesting stories....some updates:

Hey Chris, I picked them up from Rick at Status...yes, I believe off an M3.
Funny thing is I was going to pick up the R5's from him and went over there to get them when he showed me the Gnosis wheels, and I went for them.
Couldn't copy you....

Verrryyy good question....

They came out with 4 or 5 different cars: Elise, Espirit, Elite, and a 4 door. The design of them are all very much like lamborghini's...completely different in style. Problem is that they have added around 300 lbs. of extra weight e.g. to the Elise - kind of against Colin Chapman's principle of light weight.
Lotus is really attempting to market in a different direction....not sure how it's going to pan out....
