It's a week, more or less, since I put up a reply, Calton, and there is a major F10 M5 recall!

I wouldn't say major, it's a problem with the oil pump build and m5 and m6 owners with included build dates are asked not to drive until the pumps get replaced, the manufacturer of the pumps put out a "bad batch" initially but later builds seem to be excluded from this recall, including some current m5 owners...but considering the limited number of m5 and m6's produced and effected by this recall it still proves the rule regarding first year production models.....hopefully this is the worst of the first year bugs...
