So, I did have an M5 for about 12 days.... until.... wife figured out how to drive it while I was at work one day. When I got home, the key to her car ('02 540i) was on the kitchen counter, the M5 fob was on her key ring. She greeted me at the door in her traditional Japanese custom, Itadashi! (welcome home) and annouced... "this is MY new car!"

So now the M5 has been degraded to a wife and toddler cruiser.

I got of work early last week and figured I'd pick up the kids from school... Cruised up to the school in the beater I use for commuting and WTF do I see??? My M5 in the fucking pickup line surrounded by soccer mom SUVs and minivans. I just went home and pulled out the rum and a Perdomo - the only thing that is truly sacred for men! Oh' but I have to smoke in the garage because the little air tight man cave I had in the basement is now a Wii and kids playroom! I've been cut of at the balls... but I intend to win this M fight!

I will keep you posted you how this fight turns out.

Never, ever let the woman drive the M....this is what happens when you do! I've kept mine away from my M5, so far...going on a year now, so I think I'm safe!

That's one of the reasons I got a manual.... The wife does not know how to drive a stick!
