NEW M5?
#1
First of all .. Hello to all .. This is my first post ... I am a bit worried.. I just ordered a 2007 M5 Black Saphire ( that went into production yesterday ..) and I just saw that BMW is doing a facelift anf changing the interiour .. Now I am afraid I am going to have a brand new "old" car ... Are those modifications affecting the M5 thius year ?

Welcome aboard. Congrats on the new M5.
I wouldn't worry. The E60 exterior changes are minor and mostly apply to the front and rear bumpers - which won't impact the M5 anyway. Although there will be some new colors available for the M5.
The interior changes, it seems, will apply to the M5 (starting with 2008 production this Fall?). So what?
The biggest news for the E60 is upgraded engines and transmissions - again, which do not apply to the M5.
As for the other changes, I would say that having preset buttons on the iDrive, a heated steering wheel, and soft-close doors are not worth waiting for. So you should be safe in getting an '07.
