Thanks guys! Love the car, have not really had a chance to play with her because everyone keeps telling me how important it is be break it in properly, under 5500RPM and all that . The few times I did cheat on the back roads it was incredible . Will report back after the 1200 mile service..

So the 1200 mile service is done, can finally play with the car a little more. Pushing the M button and hitting the back roads was mind blowing. I have ordered the Eisemann Meisterchaft GT exhaust, should be here in a week or so. Cant wait to hear what it sounds like after the exhaust install..

My Ride: 2008 M5 -- Exterior: Silverstone, Interior: Black. Fully Loaded. That just about sums it up! :-)
Congrats on making the 1200 mile mark, mrhonest!
I've got about 500 more miles to go before I can really play. Man was it tough zipping around skyline without really letting things go!
By the way, did you get the soft close option? I have it on my LCI M5 for the doors, but not the trunk. Just curious. It's an option that I didn't plan on ordering but it *accidentally* ended up on my car.
Cheers,
