Well, after chiming in on many post saying a M5 is not practical, a 550 is better value, etc, etc.......and after wondering if I could sleep if night if I drove a car that gets 9 mpg...
I traded in my 06 550 almost 2 years to the day that I got it for an 06 M5 (with 13,000 km on it) I brought it home today - wow what a car! I never would have picked Indianapolis Red if I were ordering but man does it look good! I will post more picture when I get a sunny day.

Congrats on the new ride, man that looks nice. Your not REALLY going to drive that in the winter are you? Also just curious: what's it cost to insure an M5? How much more than the 550 was the insurance?

Awesome looking M5, Westcoast M5.
Winter driving should be absolutely no problem with the winter tires and softer Vancouver winters.
Enjoy, it's a beauty....
