I do feel lucky. I'll post many pics and impressions as soon as I can. I'm thinking about getting a 20" wheel setup... Geez, I don't even have the car yet...

Very exciting. Will your vehicle get processed in NJ or SC? I think Midwest BMWs all go to SC, so only 12 more days until drop-off at the port, and then maybe 7 days or less to get to your dealer?

Good luck waiting through these last few weeks. It's been killing me too ...

My 550 hit the SC port on Wednesday (9/21) and today Owner's Circle shows it at the VPC. They need to put on the M Aero kit there so we aren't sure how long it will be yet, but I hope to see it within 7-10 days.

I'm going to be in Cincy twice in the next 2 weeks, but next time I call dibs on getting a ride.

M Go Blue.

Yep--modding is a slippery slope--once you start, there's no turning back, but boy, is it fun...take it from somebody who knows...

I'm hoping it comes into NJ - my 545 did, so I'm assuming the M5 will also. Interesting your 550 came into SC though. Either way, we should be driving by mid October!

My car is due to arrive in Charleston on Wednesday. After that, it should be about 5 days to the dealer, making a pickup date of Monday or Tuesday!

I'm getting really excited. Well, since people like Cidair went out and got new wheels and tires, and their cars looked so good - I did too.

I got 20 inch BBS RS-GT's with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires just to be different. I've got the 19" BBS's on my 545 now and they are incredible. The 20" wheels are about 6 lbs lighter than the OEM M5 19" wheels, so I may even gain a bit in performance. I'll post pics pretty darn soon after I get the car. I may wait until I have the windows tinted. Haven't decided to lower the car yet though...

Then of course I got Blizzak LM-22's to put on the OEM 19" rims.
