Sure thing. If you're going to issue the challenge, state the weight first. It shouldn't be hard to find one that weighs less.
Im with you on that.
there will always be something better than this

I made it easy:

http://www.webericsson.jp/bmw_e60-m5/parts.html

The lightest (the small cans shown) section 3 is 10.1 kg, which is just under 22.3 lbs

The lightest sections 1 & 2 is 11 kg, which is just under 24.3 lbs

That's a total of 46.5 lbs

Here is the Dixis 100% titanium sections 2 & 3:

It's 26.4 lbs.

For section 1:

RPI stainless section 1, GT (no cats): 8 lbs
http://shoprpi.com/product_info.php?cPath=...products_id=106

Or RPI stainless section 1, ST (high flow cats): 11.6 lbs
http://shoprpi.com/product_info.php?cPath=...;products_id=82

That's a grand total of 34.4 lbs for the catless or 38 lbs for the catted.

Side note: MSRP is $3400 for the Dixis, $1022 to $1212 for the RPi (depending on which one you get. Total MSRP: $4422 to $4612. Actual cost is a bit lower.

I can't say about the M5. I can say however on the M3:

20.85kg (ノーマル 47.1kg)

I assume the weight in the brackets is for stock?? (for the full exhaust).

Oh come on man! I understand tastes aren't arguable but does this look FUGLY???

I mean look at it. From all the other exuashts like Eisenmann ovals (AMG copy) and rounds and even other exhausts i find those looking the best as in shape and overall integration.

Also I dare you to find anything that sounds better (arguably) or that saves more weight (fact). THIS IS 100% TITANIUM !

Is it me or does that Ericsson M3 look exactly like the Racing Dynamics M3 on their website:

Hmmm...no you are correct.

Unless they have some partnership going on...i dunno how this can be.

RDSport is a serious company right?
