the truck man just left, in fact i dont even know if he even KNOWS put me off the road,as he carried on while i dilemma-ed into the verge........
all is fine, 2mrw i will call the insurance and get the ball moving, a hard few months ahead i fear

At least your are ok. That's all that matters. The car can be fixed, although it's such a bummer to see the car in that shape. Did the truck driver pull over? Did he even see what happened?

That sucks. A similar thing happened to me on I-10 headed towards San Antonio on a rainy night at well over 80mph, a truck (pickup) changed lanes into mine right next to my S2000, so I had to take to the shoulder while steering as little as possible to avoid unwanted vehicular motion..Just lucky to have escaped without spinning onto the wet grass.
At least you seem to be ok, and those wheels look salvageable.
