SA tells me the pulley is no issue, worse case they remove it and put the factory one back on.

Also in regards to the Clutch they are saying because it is directly related to the SMG and that it is argueable to be an "automatic" that it should be covered if it goes.

Drivetrain (engine,tranmission,diffs,etc) are all covered.

Worth it or what?

Im thinkin based on resale value increase alone, and piece of mind, that i should purchase it.
I'd do it. When I had them fix my passenger side airbag malfunction and the thermostat, the bill was $2400!! Lucky I had the ext warranty and only paid the $500 deductable.

If your M5 is still warrantied, go to your BMW dealer and get a CPO warranty (BMW Certified Series Warranties).

Will help immensily for trade-in and resale down the road along with piece of mind.

The company I am going to go through is Coverage One(ultimate package). It is a Canadian BMW Exclusive warranty option.

Get your extended warranty before your OEM warranty expires!!

I dont plan to sell my car at ALL, it has 13k miles on it and every OPTION. Cant imagine how much I love it.

I was looking into the NAC warranty for 6 years 75k miles

Do you guys have any idea on that one ?

BMW over charges for their warranty and doesn't even cover everything in the CPO, I mean Maint warranty is extra.

Yeah my understanding is that the BMW extended warranty is not as comprehensive as some of the other third party companies out there.

EuroCarFan how do you like EasyCare. How do you like that, could you please give me details on someone I can talk to like an agent or something.
Thanks,

Thanks,
I've had good experience with them so far. My car's heavily modded and I haven't had any issues with claims yet (knock on wood). Not sure if it's because the warranty is lenient or because my dealer doesn't disclose everything I have on my car. haha

The main reason I went with them is because that's the third party warranty my dealer sells so I figured they already have an established relationship with my dealer which would make the claims process a lot easier. I had suggested earlier in the thread that perhaps you guys should ask what insurance your dealer sells and use them but of course, that's just my opinion and maybe it doesn't matter who you go with. If you want to check out EasyCare, you can just contact them directly if your dealer doesn't carry them: http://easycare.com/
