My Ride: A Car
What sucks about the M, I am driving 120 MPH and I dont feel a thing! I always feel like, why is the car so damn slow??!!??? I got up to 110 mph on the williamsburg bridge and felt like driving 60 mph. Only time it feels fast is when someone tries to "race" me and I blow their doors off STILL feeling that the car is slow.

My Ride: 04 525i sport, premium, winter, xenon. xm satellite radio, navwithtv dvd system, 1 jl 10w7 sub powered by xtant 1001x amp. 20x8.5/10 on nitto nt555 rubber. acs roof and decklid spoiler, breyton front spoiler.
This car feels "slow" at 180. It never feels like you're stressing this car at any speed. I love it!

I've challenged him about it several times and he claims he's seen dyno and real world gains from it. He swears by it and It's hard to argue with his results. He has a 500+ hp dyno and I've seen video and met the owner of an 03 murcielago that he's edged out from a roll. I was also at the airstrip event in Miami where he was consistently putting up mid 180's in a standing mile where I was only doing mid-high 170's. I can't explain the "HAI" discrepancy on his car and he gets crucified for it on all the boards , but he sticks with it. I really think with RPI scoops and BMC's he could improve the performance, but like I said I can't argue with hi results.

The other night I'd finished work and driving home, (2am, road deserted) on the M1 (highway in blighty) and I thought I'd see if these things are limited to 155, anyway, she pulled right past to 160 
and it felt like it a little left over also...
Rock steady, no drama, my only regret was not checking what she was reving at, I could have gauged how much was left.

I don't think your buddies car killed it on the first run...I mean don't get me wrong, he caught up and all but most american cars aren't made for high speeds...Espically a jeep....The jeep probably isn't geared for higher speeds...The m5/6 has always been a killer from the higher speeds...They lack lower end torque....Most people never race past 120 anyways....I would like to see his trap speed for a quarter mile and his time....

He's done 12.19 @ 121 at atco on street tires but had major traction problems. The M5/m6 will reel in almost anything at speed.
