I would say the race with P400 would be close..
The SS runs 4.9 (0-60) "insideline.com" and 13.4 (1/4 mile). They also claim that it will run 4.6 sec (0-60) and 13.3 (1/4 mile) in the SS automatic (400 hp)!!! which is strange, but they comment that they "optimized the shift points". I would say your 400 hp compared to his 400 hp is much better/faster, but this is just my guesstimated opinion. Just unleash that 507hp and dust him!!!

Hope this helps somewhat.

when i had my 535i modded I would beat M5s in P400 mode very easily....But a stock camaro vs p400 m5 will be a good match up.
I would race him in p400 + S600
I would race him in p400 + S600

because of the challenges of getting a good start from a dig with the S85, in P500S mode the best Ive seen on a stock car (with only CF removed) is ~13.2 1/4 in real world situations...so, if these stats on the SS above are to be taken seriously, you would need to run in P500S...

OK guys,
I had a few runs with the 335, and I have to say this... those turboed bimmers FLYYYYY!
We first raced in P400 from a dig, together on the start, then 335 shifts 2nd and jumps my ass by a car length. Shifts 3rd jumps my ass by another car length. All in all by the end of 4th gear, he was 3 car lengths in front of me.
Same result from a roll of 40km/h. Made me feel like an overwight elephant hahahah! I love his car.
We then raced in P500 and there was no competition. So do you guys think he has a good chance against the Camaro SS?
Sorry for this crappy video, we didn't have passengers on board, and this was filmed by an onlooker. Wish someone would have filmed my P400 run with him so you could see for yourself how the 335 jumped like a rabbit! Amazing
Anyways, here's a video of our 1/4 sprint ( M5 in P500 )
