M5 visually disappoints

My Ride: '12 BMW 520d Touring
I agree with the other posters here, the elegant looks really make the BMW M5 an awsome machine.
But it also has to do something with personal taste, I do not like "sporty" cars with too much spoilers and bling-bling rims and stuff like that. For example, I didn't like the E39 M5, I think it looked too agressive. But with the E60 M5, the body-kit is spot-on, it really fits the car well. I prefer elegance and (business-)style over some body work and rims that are just screaming for attention.
But if one thinks the "standard" M5 doesn't looks good, he (or her) always can turn to a tuner like Hartge to modify their M5's to their wishes.
But for me, the understatement in appearance of the M5 vs. the "?berstatement" in performance, are the things that make this car so appealing for me.
