I would have purchases a 545i touring if it was available. I hate SUV's and love the practicality of a wagon. Just look at all the Volvo wagona running around - BMW get on it!

well... in Europe people just look forward for the wagon version of german cars like Audi or BMW.. it would be a great succes here. I'm sure

S4 or S6 are 100% avant in Italy

Yes I agree, in Sweden a touring is more easier to sell, and resale value is higher than a sedan, for almost all models!

I'd certanly go for it! I love teh Tourer as the boot swallows just about anything i throw at it and with a 7yr old and a lil'un on the way the boot space is definitely useful - it also saves going a second sporty car just for the weekend!

I would take a touring M5 over the sedan any day. I bought my 530xiT to hold me over until the M5 touring is available. I love the driving dynamics and the utility. Plus, I think the touring looks better than the sedan. Just my opinion.

I agree, I would also have much preferred my 545/550 as a touring. SUV levels of practicality with sedan driving dynamics. If it were available here I'd have taken the 550 Touring in a heartbeat.
