What's the market for a n M5 Touring? I know it is almost non-existent in US. I know I would NEVER buy an M5 Touring - why spend that kind of money - on a WAGON! I don't get it.

I would say quite big in Europe where sporty wagons are on faschion. Look at Audi S6 or RS6. I've never seen a sedan version as everybody buys the wagon.

I think if you guys over the pond want load lugging ability you go for an SUV or 4x4.
Over here in blighty the 4x4 and SUV's just don't have anyway near the driving dynamics of a 5 Touring so for people like me it fills a crucial gap as the handling differences between the Touring and the Saloon (sedan) are negligible (believe me, I've driven both for whole weekends). Also they are seen to have a bit of kudos, especially with the M Sport kit.
Believe you me, if they did an M5 Touring in the UK I would be the first in line (they don't so I keep hold of the Porker - shame
)

The recent M5 scoops and camuf. cars were also with crome trims and normal mirrors and 5er normal rimz. Be sure at FIZ not sure they would like that
