How long is the m5 rotor life, i was told 60k and should replace a new set of rotors.

I don't know the specific answer to this. I've heard some people get new rotors with every brake pad replacement (at least this is for all people still under the USA warranty/maintenance, which is almost all USA owners). I've heard that with slotted and/or drilled rotors, they can't or shouldn't be cut, and instead replaced, in which case they would last as long as they don't get warped. I would expect over the course of 60k - 100k miles, especially if you tracked the car, you would end up with a warped rotor or two and you would end up replacing a pair or all four. I'll ask next time I'm at the dealership (a couple months from now).

yeah i'll ask the dealer tomorrow too since i'll be stopping by there anyways to get an rough idea, yeah i know bmw rotors are not supposed to be resurfaced if the life is done, its time for new set and its $400 for each rotor yikes.
