M5 or M3

My Ride: '05 530i Silver Grey , black interior. Premium Package, Satellite Radio, Adaptive Xenon Headlights, alpine 500amp pushing 12" alpine sub in the trunk, MTech pedals, 30% tint.
Looking to buy a M5 or M3. Don't really need the size of a M5 but would like the power. M3 is more my size. Does anyone know when the new M3 will be out? Should I just buy the M5 or wait? What do you think? Any differences other then the engine?

[/quote]I'm liking that photoshopped picture that's floating around. Wider fenders, power-dome, and the front air dam. But I actually think BMW will tone-down the actual version. All speculation of course.

My apologies if this has already been posted, but I came across these photoshops which appears to be more believable of the final product (in my eyes at least) of the e90 M3:
