Hahaha i watched the video again and it appears, towards the end, that the speedometer needle gets pulled down by the fuel gauge needle. Maybe it has magnets

PS: From what i see on the international bmw.com webpage the m5 has a cw of 0.31 and the m6 has a cw of 0.32
There You are partly right and I dont know why? When I went through several sites and articles I found almost as many values for M5/M6 Cw. Do anyone know why is this?

...among other reasons, some say because the E60 is longer

I understand your question differently from B M W. I think you mean "Why do I find as many (different) values for Cd (Cw) as I find sources?".

My guess - but no more than a guess - is that it's because :

a) it can only be determined experimentally, but it's relatively expensive to do so, therefore people sometimes guess (who is going to prove them wrong)
b) it can change because of many apparently "unrelated" factors (e.g. car length, radiator area), some of which may change over the life of a model (e.g. wing mirror shape and finish), so it goes out of date but people still have the old value
c) although it's a very important factor in determining overall car efficiency at high speeds (say >100 kph), values of Cd have not changed very much in about 25 years. So there isn't as much of an interest in the area as there was in the late '70s/early '80s, when Citroen even called a car "Cx"!

That has a seed of truth!
