nope i disagree that the car is out of your age group. I just turned 20 and have a 545 and I absolutely love it. I have a couple friends driving the 5 series as well and I think its an appropriate car. I would prefer the m5 anyday if i could afford it over the m3 convertible. But yes if you like the feeling of air combing your hair then you would have the convertible.

I don't think you should let 'age' be a factor. You'll drive whatever you'll drive. Hell, you'll have people thinking, "WTF, he's 18 driving that!?"

Regarding the convertible...think about how much you drive with the top down now to help you determine if it's worth losing that feature for some more ponies under the hood.

Jack was right. It makes not much sense to have top down in Seatle, WA or in Las Vegas during summer time unless you want to be BBQ like a beef. Also, if you're in Europe, M5 is too much for gas.

If you are drooling over the new m5 now, hurry put your name down to the waiting list at your dealer. Drive the m3 covt till your beast arrives, the production for the new m5 is limited.
