M Dynamic Drive or DSC off?
#1
Ok so in the M-drive options under DSC, there are 4 options. 2 of the 4 that confuse me is M dynamic mod, and DSC off. Whats the difference between the 2? now for me its set to Off
I mean, how are they different? what should I use when I am on M mode?

BTW, I think you also need S6 for DSC off. The M experts should chime in because I've never owned one.

Pretty much bang on!! If you want to have the S6 gear change speed, then DSC has to be off, MDM will only give you S5. And like aforementioned, if you want the car to TRY to save your butt if you loose the control of the car that much, then leave it in MDM. It won't save you every time though!! I never have MDM on whilst in M mode. It's always off.

Like I said in my post... OFF!!!
It's not about how WE drive it though! It all depends on how you like to have the care. In your "capable" hands if things go a little hairy, or with a back up system that will attempt to sort things out. It isn't a lifesaver by any means, but it is an AID!
If you want to drive so you are in full control, or not, depending on what the case may be, then have it off! If you want some security, then have either DSC fully on or in MDM mode.

For u and u track record I suggest on all the time. And throw a rollcage in it for good measure

Having DSC OFF gives you S6, which is a MASSIVE difference between S5. Our cars are fairly balanced unless you try and make it understeer, then it will. Otherwise for true hyperspeed P500S/DSC OFF - S6/ EDC Sport !
