M cars no fog light

My Ride: 2005 545i /w Sport pkg - SMG - Nav - Premium pkg - PDC - Ready to begin my modding! =)
I was curious if anyone knew the answer to this as I didnt see anything when I did a search....
Does anyone know why the M-cars do not come with fog lights? Personally i think cars with fogs look better, and for performance you'd think you want the extra lights for those type driving conditions, so why no fogs on the M's???????

Because they use the fog light "socket" as a brake cooling duct...
(What's funny is that on my 550i with the M-sport front, I have both brake cooling ducts and fog lights...not that I ever use them much, right Ice?
)

M5's don't need fog lights. The fog just moves aside when it sees an M5 coming...respect.
