Just got back from the dealer - my M5 is here! Spent an hour or so talking with people about the car - it draws quite a crowd. Silverstone/Silverstone/Aluminum. All options. The full leather perforated multifunction seats look very sharp - much different than anything that's been shown so far.
Unfortunately I won't be able to pickup until Monday - have to leave town tomorrow, and I don't want to rush the tech's. I'll post lots of pics when I'm back.

How can you wait until Monday to plant your right foot? :'( You are made of stronger stuff than me. I'd be sleeping next to it tonight at the dealership.

Thanks guys - yes, it is torture. If it wasn't my Mom's 75th birthday I'd probably cancel the trip.
I'll post pics after they've installed the 20" BBS RS-GT's, and I've had the tinting done. The car should look pretty sharp then.

By the way, is the dealer taking your original type 166 wheels and tires? If not are you keeping them or are you going to sell them?
