I thought they were not coming to the states.
I don't think you'll ever see the touring in the US unless someone imports one. Very nice looking.

I've only seen two privately owned tourings, a blue UK car and a black German one. Both were at the 'ring. The black one only made it as fa as Pflantzgarten !. It was parked up on the grass, and probably had a technical problem as there was no visible damage.

BMW never even made an E46 M3 sedan, but now they are making an M5 touring? Something is not kosher about this

Congratulations!

I have tested both M5 sedan and touring : usually I don't like Touring cars, but in this case I like more the E61 M5 than the E60 .

Only pay attention to the exhaust under the rear axle: it is too near to the road, imho .

Congrats on the very nice M5 Tourings... my B5 Touring's almost getting long in the tooth now - nearly 2 years old! Still, it gets me around okay...

Am a big fan of fast estate cars - my past repertoire includes a B8 4.6 Touring, still hard to beat for raw thrills!. They may not be so great on fiddly country lanes (Lotus country), but awesome on the quicker stuff, and both practical and subtle

I had a good cross country blast yesterday through the Cotswolds and back towards London, on some great sweeping A-roads. Averaged 22.4mpg, including the crawl back through town and some, er, "high speed" M-way cruising. Beat that in an M5T, boys!

Quick Reply: I got my M5 Touring !! :)
