My Ride: 2006 BMW M5
![Default](https://5series.net/forums/images/icons/icon1.gif)
I am trying to sell the 545i for 4 months (even for $20.000) and no luck (I think it is because high mileage it has 145.000 kms (about 90.000 miles) plus no warranty but extremely well maintained (with bills to proof)) so I decided to try for a trade-in for a 2006 m5. The BMW dealer offered me $17000 that initially they offered me for $12500 so we negotiated.... so do you think $17000 is still good for trade-in?
there are two 2006 M5 with low/mid km:
1) Black/black, full options 46700 kms, built Sept 2005. CPO until Sept 2011 or 160.000 km.
2) Interlagos/Silverstone, almost full options (ventilated seats are missing), built Nov 2005 58705 km. CPO until Nov 2011 or 160.000km...(just $2000 less than the black one)
Help!
Yes, I told them about SMG transmission on 2006 models and they said it covers the warranty.... so.... what do you think?

I think $17K is great for your trade in. If you do get a 2006 M5, just make sure that you get a good warranty. You should be good to go.

Same question. I got an '06 530xi. 24,500 miles (less than that actually but not by too much). How much you think I would/should get for it? Options are in my sig. Thanks

Dealers usually give you great value for your car, but screw you on the price of the car you're buying.
