M5 needs better tires because toward the end, it started to drift alot . . .

It might be right...but in the end they guy in the CSL came to push him really badly. The m5 driver didn't want to loose the 1st spot so easily on the corners...so he pushed it to the max. Because the m5 is waaaaay heavier then the m3 csl and the setup of the car is different, hp/torque and smg III didn't help it at all in the corners and he started to drift (quite alot) but that was the only solution because otherwise the csl would have passed him on the corners with it's sharp precision.
The only odd thing is the way they finish with the gtr taking the 1st place on a photo finish and that's in the last corners when during the entire race it was clearly way slower.

You got to also remember the M5 was the only sedan in that race!!!
I noticed they didnt even want to get the CLS55 out on that track with those other cars it would flip on the first corner. To hold the lead till the final lap is really good for the M5 and you noticed he had enough HP to hold off all the cars until his grip gave way.

I was shocked that the Porsche 911 CS did so poorly. I thought since its the lightest of the group it would do much better in the turns, but did not have enough HP to run in the straights. I hope maybe the driver was not as good as the others. Makes me wonder about my 997 911 CS.

Also the white on the M5 makes that car look so good. I really like the alpine white for the M5.

I adore the white on a sporty bmw let alone on an M. But hey about the weight stuff the M3 CSL was the lightest. It was like a feather compared to all the cars there. And it shows it around the corners.

good video little suspicous though that the skyline seems to pass all the other cars so easily at the end though??? the m3csl is easily the lightest of the group, and has those barely legal semi slick, soft compound racing tires too.
