Nice car!

I think some black front and side grills would really make the car look aggressive.

What kind of plans do you have in mind, as far as mods goes?

-Don
Thanks and thats exactly my plans...cf kidney grill, side vents and side mirrors.

500 Club soon, yet to feel that.....break in is killing me!

Very difficult to keep this car under 5k rpms, I almost have to drive her in "D" mode.
All I stare at is the 8k+ yellow/red rpm markers on the tach!

Loving it nevertheless
Which school of thought are you following when braking-in your car?
I know the 500 horses can't be unleashed until the 1,200mi trip to the dealer, but are you driving it to redline (which some believe creates a better seal for the pistons, thus yielding better high performance in the long run) or are you following the manufacturer's suggestions?

Suggested manufacturer break in, often taking the car to 5500 rpm and then engine braking. I've got 550 clocked on the odo so I dont intend on taking her to redline until 1200, although when I get closer I may push 6 or 7k. I've researched the topic on this forum and it seems the concensus is manufacture break in.

I broke in my S4 with occasional redline driving and had little to no oil consumption, I'm a little hesitant with this car.

Good deal.
I also did manufacturer's suggestion with my lowly 545i and it has been rock solid since.
Once again, congrats. She's beautiful!

Nice pictures.

Let me know if you need any help with getting mods for your car

I would try to get the AA software that is out right now for your car.

Nice.
You know that you CAN utilize all 500 horsies now. Just can't use S5 or 6 or revving above 5500. Do it, do it!

P500/S4 and limited to 5500ish rpm's is for driving around town!! Its gets really interesting after 6k+ imo.

Hell yeah! But I was referring to the break-in period, if you choose to follow it.

LOL, I understood what u meant. I did follow suggested BMW break in with rare jaunts into 5500+ territory, hence the appreciation for our cars higher rpm's.

I'm taking the car in this Friday for its 1200 service!!
