Guys,

When using LC, will the car auto shift? i seem to read everywhere that it does.
I've tried LC successfully, but only went through the 1st gear.
(I'm in UK)

I believe the Euro LC autoshifts while the US doesn't.

Yeah it does auto shift. BUT depending on traction it will likely bounce off the limiter a few times before it does shift up..... Did this myself a few times thinking hey it doesn't autoshift up and lift off to stop the engine screaming! But just keep ya foot planted and it WILL autoshift up Warm tyres and decent traction with some heat on the road and in tyres will make a difference, have faith it will work

Another tip is do NOT have suspension set to hard, leave it on soft setting and it will take off a LOT better. With max suspension it bounces a lot more, with soft it allows the rear end to "bog" down a little more and get better traction. I actually find for everday use, standard "M" button setting in S6 is just as effective as a launch anyway.

+1....from experience, mine did not auto-upshift. M5board says same thing...Euro only.

ta very much for that... when i have tried it, i also experienced the limiter bouncing and panicked, changing gear manually. hence my question.
"have faith", it's the way to go. once warmer weather here again, i will get on it.
good point about EDC setting.. makes sense to let the rear bog down.
