I am happy to announce the offical product launch for ESS E60 M5 and ESS E63 M6 Performance software.

From the site:
ESS Normal Aspiration optimized ECU software is a result of 100''s of dyno runs and exact calibration of all parameters to allow maximum performance gains with improved driveability/fuel consumption and stock engine longevity.

Link: http://www.esstuning.com/default.asp...subcat2=266&id=

Features :

-8400RPM limit (8500RPM optional)
-Removed top speed governor
-Reprogrammed torque management
-Reprogrammed throttle response
-Reprogrammed ignition, vanos and fuel parameters for optimum operation

The software is compatible with performance cat-back exhaust systems. Header software available upon request.

Software available for both US and European specification cars.

Typcal performance increase is +10hp and 10ft/lbs of torque with software alone.

When you order this product, you will receive information on how to remove your ECU for shipment to a ESS reprogramming center near you.

More info:
The BMW DME?s are extremely complex computers. Two processors, and the ability to perform millions of operations per second keep that V10 roaring past 8000rpm. For this reason you want to go with an ECU upgrade that retains factory reliability, while increasing horsepower and torque the RIGHT way, rather than through the use of piggyback systems that trick the cars DME, or tuners that simply increase the timing.

ESS actually has the expertise to remap many portions of the ECU for better drivability and performance, without a sacrifice to reliability at all.

After this software was installed in my car, I immediately felt a huge difference in performance. Most of all, the car is much smoother than before. It really changed the characteristics of the motor for the better. The shift actions from the SMG transmission are much smoother and crisper. The car became faster and faster as the ECU adapted over the first 1000 miles.

ESS also offers custom programming based on current/future modifications.

The price on the website is US $1295. However, we are offering a special through the forums for $1149!! Please PM me if you are interested or if you have any questions.

Thanks for looking and happy motoring.
