hi
I read poor feedback from people who used yellow stuff on track, though I dont know if they used the new material or not.
Porsche use brembo on their cars and I definitely agreed with you that bmw should use better brakes on the Ms. I was so shocked to discover that the e90 m3 only use floating calipers.
As re. stoptech BBK, how are they to use on pubilc road? do they need to warm up at all?
Keith was very kind to let me try his red stuff last nite and I thought the braking power was excellent so much so that it was easy to lock up the front wheels.

imho, if its just for pubilc road use and you are ok with the soft pedal feel, red stuff is quite ok.
If you want it for track, go for the bluestuff
Or something else

Redstuff is for the fast road use, while yellowstuff i believe is for the hardcord road use.

I checked out the pagid website which shows decent friction coeff info. Price of pagid is much higher than ebc though, guess you get what you paid.
for most of us EBC is more than what we need for HK roads.
If I was driving on track then I would get racing pads like OMP

Green 0% pushing the car and daily drive
red for 50% pushing the car.
yellow which I will be getting but have not tried it out.
this is just a guild of what I have tried out.
If you like to drive fast and not pully push the car then go for the red.

cold performance
cost
rotor friendliness
noise
pedal feel
dust
depending on your driving style and type of road, fade resistance.
if better braking power than oem is all that you need (for st), I suggest you can give red stuff a try. for best performance, I have seen some info on stoptech's site on tests carried out by various auto magazines.
