Doesn't look bad, but why do the fronts have step lips and not the rears? Paint the spokes either a black/matte/gray and your set.

They dont have step lips but I wish they did. I had to sharpen the pics as my camera was shitty and I guess thats the illusion ppl are getting that they are chrome. I should go out on a sunny day with the SLR and take some high res pics. I will do this once the springs set in, if they even do

It's the reflection of the inner ring that the tips of the spokes are attached to.
If you look closely, the spokes are not short & stubby, like they would be with a stepped lip.

Its the hidden harware that is throwing you off. The titanium fasteners are behind rather than outside and that gives the step lip appearance I guess. Didnt really notice it till now.

Just to clarify, I did say "chrome-type" in my post....I assumed he didn't chrome his HRE's.
