car has 50k on it..

the problem wasn't the belt in the end. supposedly the Dinan pulley's (aftermarket) weren't aligned properly and the belt tensioner wasn't sitting correctly. It's been that way for over 10k miles at this point so i'm glad it happened when I was a block away from the dealership. so wierd the day before i drove 400 miles and no issues, the next day i start it and it was broken, musta melted after I left the car overnight and split when i started it.

Hmm...50K miles huh? Any chance you can get Dinan to cover the repair under warranty? Probably not if you're over the 50K mile standard warranty or if someone other than Dinan screwed up the install originally.

yea i mean unless u have alota experiance with belt work and alignment i'd leave it to the pros so this doesnt happen.

freakin fuel vent valves just went on my car now too another 750 down the tubesss lol. i think i'm gonna start looking into extended warrenties. sucks that i'm over the 50k (53k to be exact) factory warrenty now! do I have any decent options out there?
