What's the specific danger with using large spacers? I have 20mm spacers on mine with extended bolts and know lots of people running spacers without issues. Once in a while I'll read about someone saying there may be problems but no one would be specific in saying what the problems are.
*im no high performance wheel expert and in 4 wheeling the spacer bolts are connected to the hub and the wheel is bolted to the spacer equalling 8 sets of bolts, but in high performance im wondering? do u have 2 sets of bolts per wheel or do you use longer bolts? if thats the case then wow, thats even worse

bolt can shear off, at high speeds this could send u to ur death. we use spacer all the time in 4 wheelin but we are going sssslllowwww so its not that big of deal, when your wheel is connected to the hub directly theres only one set of bolts 4 per car, w spacers now youve got 8, youve doubled your chances of dying

That would depend on different applications. On my car and I'm sure most of the other cars here, we use the same set of bolts, just longer to account for the spacers.

ya then a shorter bolt will have more strength, idk if its just for looks i dont think its that big of a deal, if u keep it under 100 it should be fine, but on track days, throw the stocks back on or remove the spacers if u can

I'm not a fast driver nor do I track my car.
But what are my options right now? TireRack ocould get back to me and say "we told you it fits, didn't gurantee offset"
Lets see what they say.

Ya, I would definitely avoid 30mm spacers n just get wider rims/tires... that why I still have my 124's that are 10" in the back
