Iceman, i think that Rob is really putting his ass on the line charging high prices for DMS tuning over other companies, on the claims that his tuning is 100% stealth..

I cant think he'll risk it just by putting BS up
It's allready proven that it's detectable.

And I know that they CAN see EVERYTHING, if they just want to.

Again: You can trust me...

OK, so you believe everything that's in the bloody magazine? The newspaper? The national enquirer?

You can trust me on this one, NO remap is stealth!

didn't find mine!!!!!
Yep, because they were not looking for it. And maybe they have found it, but why should they tell you? Is there a problem caused by it? No. So, IF there is a problem that can be related to the remap, THEN they will tell you!
They CAN see it, if they WANT to!

I have to agree with Iceman on this one. What the magazine probably meant is that the BMW service tech won't see the remap under any testing that is 'normally' done on the car.

If you really think about it, if the chip has been remapped, there are all sorts of ways for BMW to discover it. If it's a really good remap, they should discover it by just driving the car! They can also simply run the engine through a standard sequence, monitoring all the map parameters (throttle, timeing, fuel/air, whatever) and see what's changed. If the stock 'map' has been altered, it will show up as different parameters. Not normally something they would do, but if they suspect the chip has been altered, it would not be hard for them to check.

Trust me, if you had an M5, you would w/o a doubt want it to be faster!!! Cause, first off, if you're buyin an M5, you obviously want a nasty factory car. Put it this way, when you have 500hp, you want 600 and after 600 you want 700 and it never stops. A car is never fast enuff. hehe

Yep.
I started with 75 on my first car... Now I am at 333 and... I NEED: MORE POWER.
Should I ask Tim Taylor?

The end result is 548bhp/555nm /345km/h ... The most notable gains being at around 3500rpm to 4500rpm where the car produces 80nm more than the original car...
345km/h is insane for a four-door.
