Dinan finally released the exhaust setup for the E60 M5 so I have mine on order. Should be here in a week. I will have to pull the car out of storage for this but I miss driving it, should be nice to take it out again. I hope this setup sounds ok. It is suppose to add 9 hp and 6 ft.lb. torque. Mod # 2. Also waiting for my high polished mesh grille with alpine white frame and lower mesh grille. I have removed the stock grilles and stored them safely away. If the money gods rain good fortune upon me, I may get some HRE wheels this coming summer as well but my wife is getting a little tired of my obsession with the car.

I actually love the sound. Not too crazy about loud exhaust even if it sounds like a Ferrari. I saw the exhaust on Dinan's M5 when I was last there. I loved the tips. Makes my Dinan exhaust look wimpy. haha

I wanted something sporty but subtle. I find the stock exhaust too tame for my liking and I think the Dinan will be what the doctor ordered. Should be here in a day or two and install to follow immediately. Dinan are currently running a 10% off special until the end of February, an added bonus.

I agree with your opinion on the Dinan exhaust. I also just mailed in my rebate form yesterday for some stuff I got from them around Christmas.

My current dilemma is that I'm considering upgrading to an M5 but I don't think it would happen by the end of Feb which means I'll potentially miss out on the rebate program....
