Interesting. I remember looking at a used M5 on my dealer's lot before ordering my 550. I asked my salesman if it was CPO and he said no, BMW never CPO's the M cars. As usual, he could have been misinformed...

BMW USA allows you to search for M cars from the CPO Inventory,

I don't see why they wouldn't CPO M-cars...

I think it's just the M5 and M6 V10's they don't CPO. I have seen lots of other "M's" CPO'd.

Unless these M models were executive lease's/demo's. Possible 12 months long....

This suppose to be a link to an CPO 2005 M3 at Moritz BMW in Dallas. I saw several others at Classic BMW of Dallas as well but their website is down.

I was told the same thing, but have seen and driven many CPO'd M3's. M5's would be more scarce, I imagine, but not an impossibility.

I just stumbled across the same thing on the BMW NA website - and came here looking for confirmation (M5Board too).

Great that BMW is now doing CPO for the E60 M5 (all years). This is a big deal, at least for me, with an interest in getting a used M5.

Very cool news.
