What a great weekend it was!
I would like to thank Roy and Mike from CA Automotive for this successful visit, and wish them success in their future ventures in the region!
Their visit was a personal invitation by me to our country, and to remap my M5 after the dealer flashed my ECU. Their after-sales service extends beyon any comprehension, I have never experienced such level of dignity and commitment from any tuner ever. To fly out 3000 miles and retune a customers car, and offer amazing packages for the local boys was just perfect!
I would also like to thank Salah from SMS Design and Performance for making his facility available to us for the mapping sessions.
The guys at CA Automotive did a fantastic job getting good gains from all the BMW's they tuned, average gains were between 15whp to 35whp for different models. 15 to 20whp on stock V10's, and 25whp on stock I6 M3's. While achieving a whopping 38whp to 45whp on custom developed maps for some of the M5's. Considering our climate here and fuel grade ( 91 Octane ), those were impressive gains out of the can. ECU usually go through futher adaptations after 500 miles of driving! Everyone will be back in a week for post adaptation dyno runs!
I leave you with some pictures and videos!
And a tyre blow-out on a pre-tune dyno run!

Which one? The one w/ ACS stuff (plate #88982)? I think that's a real M5 ... AFAIK outside US market chrome trim is an option.
There's a pic of what inside the hood of that car on the last pic ... seems to be a V10 ...

Thanks, the first pic is of a Indi red M5 which had the tire blow-out on the dyno. Nice M5 with eisenmann race and RPi scoops and 20 inch HRE's running on 305's at the rear... expensive blow out
