rear needs to be done soon. Really wish someone would post up a slightly used BBK right about now lol.

Sorry man but BMW only on the front rotors.

To the OP, I would suggest checking out Stoptech's OE replacement offerings if you don't want to go BBK, you can find more info in the below link.

http://forums.5serie...g-product-line/

Otherwise, for BBK you can go with Brembo or StopTech.

Feel free to PM me if you'd like pricing on either

Its clear your only out for your best interest and have no idea

The above 2 online stores offers the cheapest price. Those are the 2 stores where I ordered from with no problems.

BMW OEM rotors with Porterfield R4S brake pads for street driving. This is the combo I am using, by far the cheapest and best combo for the street.

Gary romani gets us a better deal on the rotors in the front .

I am looking at 750 in parts just for the front OUCH!

So whats the verdict here. I've seen several different opinions. Whats the most cost effective yet quality route? Does anyone have any input on spark plugs? Those are now due for me and brakes are about a year away...

most of the time you don't actually have to change the rotors, unless they're warped or grooved in, I could do the job for you at my shop any day. We're in queens right next to jfk airport you can call anytime

Stuck with OEM rotors and your choice of EBC Yellow or Red, Oem or Cool carbon pads

what rotors and pads did u end up getting?

oem from getbmwparts.com installing them next week. the full set (rotors, pads, and sensors) came to a little under 1600 shipped.

i would never buy the factory bmw brake pads. They are expensive as **** and dust like crazy, for half the price I got the Porterfield R4S brake pads and cannot be any happier, great initial bite, low dust, and no sqeals.

EBC brake pads wrap rotors and wears them out real fast. Not a lot of ppl like EBC after they gave them a try
