BMWna Screwing up pricing for M5/m6

BMWna is making it harder for people to sell these cars privately since they can't CPO the cars.
i think this is a shame to see 90k cars going for 60k.
What are your thoughts on this?

Bad for the previous owner(unless it was a lease, which it probably was/is), good for the perspective buyer

I think it is wrong too selling these 100,000.00 nice rides for 60,000.00 or less, e60 M5s are great cars!!!

It's a shame but expensive cars always depreciate very quickly unless it's a limited production vehicle or a classic. I knew this guy who purchased an E39 M5 for about 80-90k (with markup) and traded it in 2 or 4 years later for about $35k. The market for those cars is very soft.

At 3 years it was still worth $60k on the open market (20% in 3 years is FAR better than most cars) but I decided to keep it after the lease. Only then did it begin to drop.
3 years with the E60 M5 and they loose 40%.
EDIT: PS, I do think BMW is making a mistake, not CPO'ing the cars but they must not think it hurts their sales or reputation.
