My Ride: 2006 BMW M5
I had a 545i. it is very fast and very enjoyable. Yeah much better in gas mileage.
Now owning an M5.... God! it is not just enjoyable... it is adrenaline!!! but the gas mileage is awful for sure. 550i is enjoy and M5 is adrenaline!

I can't wait to see when the new 1 series M comes out. I thought the 135i was a rocket, but this thing is going to be sick! Modding that thing will be fun too...and probably pretty cheap.

That is an easy race to predict. The 335d will own your M5 off the line up to 30-40 mph. Then your M5 will rocket past the 335d and never look back. The 335d driver will have his throttle pinned as he helplessly sees your M5 disappear in the distance like his ride was standing still. And then the 335d driver will be schooled in the power of the Beast.

Amen to that. And you will look for any excuse to dump more money into it to make it go even faster!!! hahaahah. Buy the M5 hands down, just make sure you get the extended warranty. Look at it this way...the 550i is a great car that does well for its intended use. But the M5 is the stuff dreams are made of. If you wanna pee your pants, get the M5. Its a want v/s need thing.

The 335d is not even in the same league as the M5, not in the same universe for that matter.
