So, today I threw my black front grills in, my RPI scoops and replaced my stock air filters with BMC's and removed the charcoal filters. All in all I didn't bleed too much! I think the black will need to grow on me...not sure if I like or not.

It was all pretty easy, thanks to some DIY's I found: RPI's web site for the grill removal/scoops install and another from the M5Board for the charcoal removal. Black side grills are next (in box in garage), if I decide to keep the black fronts.

Who likes and doesn't like??

Have you ever thought of paint matching the kidney surrounds and leaving the slats matte black?

How will that look better? I mean, I guess I could do it, but to what end...for more contrast?

Thanks! The side grills are sitting in the garage, waiting to be installed. Now if I could just figure out how to get them off.

As for shoes, those are most likely not going to happen. For Pittsburgh, dubs are just too big. And since my Eibach's are up for sale, the lowering obviously isn't going to happen either which makes dubs even less likely. This is Pittsburgh, fellas...some of the worst roads around.

However, I am throwing 12mm spacers on the fronts tomorrow to go with my 10mm rears.

Looks awesome Dave!! The black grills look much better, matches the lower mesh nicely.

Must have took you forever to find those perfect OEM style black grills
