Nightmare question.
The M5 is an icon of course I want one.
The B5 is missing a couple of cylinders, but it looks great ... my local dealer sells alpina and has a black one on display.
You might find this interesting:

B5 - 516 ft.lb torque / 0-100 = 9.5 secs
M5 - 383 ft.lb torque / 0-100 = 9.8 secs
I am almost ashamed to say I voted B5

I voted for the B5. Alas, it isn't offered in my neck of the woods.
The ideal package for me would be the M suspension and body kit (M mirrors too) with the Alpina built motor.
Oh, almost forgot, I would tell Alpina to keep the pin-striping for someone else's car. We're no longer in the 1980's.

Ditto. I move my dog but there is no way he would be climbing over my M5 interior!!
But then the Alpina interior looks real cheap so I wouldn't care if he mesed that up!

Are u serious? I love the interior, its so shabby that i love it. I would feel like a pornstar sitting in that car...
Haha, no I was being sarcastic, I love the interior on the Alpina, and not one for wood normally!
