Thanks for the links guys. I don't think dealers are taking orders, at least on this side of the pond. They are taking names for the waiting list, but what that REALLY means is questionable.
I agree with alohalc that the wood does'nt fit the overall look and feel of this M5. All carbon, metal, or perhaps a darker wood would be nice. I'll bet their will be more options available by the release date.
This is the first time I have seen the Fall/Winter 2005 time frame has been echoed.
Does anyone know if the launch assist the writer talks about is the same as the current SMG situation where the amount of times it's used is finite?

I don't see the justification for this Mike Dushane comment:
"At least the massive lower rear fascia better harmonizes with the enormous trunk that looks out of place on the regular 5-series."
I disagree with both facets of his critique.
