Angel eye options

I notice that some members signature say have GP Thunder 7500k bulbs for angel eyes. I thought only the e92 you can simply swap out the bulbs to give the angel eyes a WHITE look. This is what I found for the m5 http://www.bimmian.com/XHU/60
I am wondering why they are charging $149, when my friend with the e92 bought his angel eye bulbs for like $40

these bulbs only work for AE LCI e60's (also same bulb for fogs as well)

cool, so BMW basically made it easier AND cheaper to upgrade angel eyes for newer models.
