i have a 07 m5 and i have the wood interior trim and i wanted to see if anyone knows where i can buy the brushed aluminum interior trim

Have you tried your local stealer?
I found the brushed aluminium replacement kit at the local BMW.

I also like better the aluminum rather than the wood.

Schmiedmann does them. They are a Danish company, but have an English website and an English guy working there, so its "international" friendly. I bought my OEM M5 mirrors from them and its was the best price I could find -- a LOT cheaper than buying from BMW!!
You will simply need to go to the pre-LCI or LCI section, depending which one your "2007" M5 is. I find it a very easy site to navigate through.

When i was looking at buying the M5 i didn't mind the wood trim until i saw it in person.....

I have a 2007 m5 with manual transmission....now what's the difference between the lci and non lci?

The interior of the LCI is different than the pre-LCI cars so the trim is shaped differently in certain areas.

Yeah but how do I know which model I have bc in both pics the interior looks exactly the same

LCI came out in 2008. Your 2007 is a pre-LCI model. At least that's the case for US cars.

pre lci window switches are up toward the a pillar next to the door close handle, lci looks like a 3 series door w the switches being down low and a toyota camry style door close cup/handle
