Buddy don't get think it'll get better than 13MPG. The max I've got out of my M5 was 14.8 (not motorway). I usually see it around 12.

Who care too much about MPG. Only number you need to worry about is the possible points on your license.

You made the right choice.

Yeah when I'm back "home" in the UK I can make sure it gets enough exercise if you get bored with it by then...

Just test drive one ....you will be hooked.........the sound , the instant throttle response and the SMG is awsome , did i mention the sound .

My mpg at the moment is probably not a true indication of what the V10 can achieve ( only had it 3 days ) , 13mpg , and that's because I'm still exploring the

performance characteristics of the engine and gearbox , i am also taking friends and family out time and time again to experience the engineering and technology of

this machine.

On a plus though ....my 535d being remapped and only covering very low miles each day was only returning between 19 to 23 mpg...

so blatting around with the V10 at 13 is pretty good really.

Nick

It sounds like the m6 is the next car for me then

One thing I've wonder thou (a more general question) is if there's a big difference regarding the fuel consumption when you are in P400 and P500 mode?
In the brochures you can read different facts regarding the consumption but it never says if it is in P400 or P500 so I assume that it's P400?

Cheers

it's irrelevant ... you never use p400 i promise you. dont think i've EVER driven in anything less than p500 .. and most of the time i'm in p500 sport.
