Did the dealership give you an estimate on when they would take delivery?

Probably some time next year. I ordered the interlagos blue, so it will take a while. Chances are some people will opt out, so if I would take a different color, I could get it sooner. I told him I expected a two year wait, and he was confident it would not take that long. He explained that the hype always generates claims like that, but that it usually happened in markets where they are asking for the large premiums. The hype generates the demand.

Very nice.
Wait for the Interlagos Blue. It's my favorite flavor as well.

Congratulations on your purchase.

Does anyone know if or when you can use ED to get an M5?? Given its limited production, it may not be eligible.

BMWNA has not yet allow ED on M5. Most likely this will not happen for at least a year.

Even if BMWNA allows ED, chaces are your dealer is probably going to say no. Since all M cars comes out of dealer allocation, the dealers have no incentive to incurr extra paper work and hassle for your ED.
