Hi everyone, I have a bit of a dilemma on my hands and could really use your opinions.

I currently have a 650 coupe and want to upgrade to something with a bit more power/fun factor. I was going to go for the m6, but one of my buddies just got one and I dont like the idea of having the same car. Instead, I thought about getting the m5 as it is nearly the same car w/ even more features (vent seats, 4 doors). The only thing stopping me is the fact that I have already owned an E60 and I almost feel like I am going backwards, since the look is almost identical. Also, the 6 on the inside is similar to the 5, so I will feel like I have had the same car the whole time..

The only other car I have considered/driven is the 911 c4s.. I loved the way the car drove as it was a lot more fun to drive than my 6, and I have never owned a Porsche; my only concern with the car would be maintenance.

So, what do you think? I am particularly interested in the opinions of m5 owners and current/former Porsche owners. Hit me with the pros and cons. And are there any cars I am forgetting about?

Thanks in advance for your input..

had around 8 porsches so far. no maintenance issues for 997's unless you over-rev. You will probably get sick of a C4S cab though. If I were you I would look for a pre-owned 997TT. That way you will never get sick of the car. The C4S is nice, but not powerful enough.
